Royal Beluga Caviar
As it’s well known, good things take time! This means for us 17 years of patience and intensive care of the beluga sturgeons until the most desirable caviar in the world is ready for consumption. The older a sturgeon becomes, the larger the grain diameter of the roe and the more delicate it’s taste. The color is grey to anthracite and has a very fragile skin that can burst just by touching the tongue. Compared to other caviar varieties it’s largest with a grain diameter of up to 4mm and is characterized by a fine creamy taste.
Sustainable caviar production
Our caviar is obtained from sturgeons of the species Huso-Huso, which is listed as an endangered species. For this reason, all farms must comply with strict regulations and each product must be labelled in accordance with the rules. Without this code on the container, the caviar can be assumed to come from illegal sources and may not be imported or distributed. For this reason, each of our products carries such a code on the containers so that you can be sure that they are products from legal sources.
CITES-Documents for Beluga Caviar
Due to massive overfishing in the Caspian Sea, it is prohibited to catch and kill wild sturgeon for roe production. Our delicacies are coming from sturgeons raised in a unique farm in Iran. The special thing about our farm is that it is located directly at the Caspian Sea and fresh seawater is continuously pumped into the breeding tanks. This protects the natural stocks and at the same time creates a flavour that is characteristic of free-living sturgeons.
